A review for 2013 China (Chenzhou) Rally Championship

In the afternoon of June 16, 2013, 2013 China (Chenzhou) Rally Championship was successfully closed in Chenzhou city.

106 racing autos from 34 teams took fierce competition during the three days and presented a visual feast of rally champion to Chenzhou people.

To ensure the success of this rally championship, relative teams worked well on the preparation and organization work. Thanks to their hardworking, 2013 China (Chenzhou) Rally Championship was with a great start in Chenzhou section.

It was a high level championship. Mark Higgins, Han Han and other top drivers worldwide were attracted to attend it. At the meantime, first level of national and provincial medias as People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, Hunan TV, etc. sent out their crews to cover the reports of this championship.

It was a well-off championship. Thanks to the sound organization, logistical support and security, nothing unexpected situation happened to affect the drivers’ attendance of competition.

It was a harmonious championship. All Chenzhou people showed their friendly greetings and hot enthusiasm to enjoy the championship.

It was a pioneering work for the establishment of “city of sports” by holding such national level championship in Chenzhou city. It was a key achievement for the upgrading of Chenzhou economical comprehensive strength as well.

It was a hot topic for Chenzhou people during the process of 2013 China (Chenzhou ) Rally Championship, which helped to increase people’s concern on the establishment of “city of sports”.

As mentioned by Li Shun- Director of Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau that it played an important role to upgrade Chenzhou city’s image of “city of sports” and promote fitness programs of Chenzhou city as well by holding such kind of national level championship.

At the meantime, it was proved that it was capable for Chenzhou city to hold high level sports events, which would be helpful for attracting more sports events to try in Chenzhou city even settle down in Chenzhou city.

All the achievements mentioned above were helpful for accelerating the establishment of “city of sports”.

Besides of the 106 racing autos from 34 auto teams, thousand of the teams staffs and journalists from 27 medias gathered in Chenzhou city to cover the reports of this championship.

During the process, all staffs and journalists enjoyed Chenzhou city’s charm personally and were impressed by Chenzhou city’s historical culture and energetic development trend.

With this kind of new name card, more investors would be attracted to Chenzhou city.

When reporters took interviews for some old age rally championship fans in Chenzhou Sports Center, they could not help to expressing their emotions that great improvements were reached in Chenzhou city, in China.

All these new stands, racing tracks, etc. available in Chenzhou city reminded them the memories of watching the rally championship in the middle of 1980s’. In those days, all the audiences can just watch the race in mud roads. Once the racing autos passed by, all of them were splashed with mud.

In the middle of 1980s’, Chenzhou people could only enjoy the championship in mud roads, in 2008, Chenzhou people could only watch the SUV sports games in Beihu district, but now, 2013 China (Chenzhou) Rally Championship was covered the three central areas of Chenzhou city. From the above improvement, all Chenzhou people were proud to see that Chenzhou city was followed a way for great development.

It was with extremely high standards to prepare the auto races. It was as a touch-stone to measure Chenzhou city’s comprehensive development level by holding this national level championship during the special “take-off” period of Chenzhou city.

With the successful end of this championship, Chenzhou city was approved to be with the same capacity as Dalian, Qingdao, Xiamen and other developed cities to hold such national level sports events.
